我看看这看看那，无意中发现了南边有一丛我最喜欢的植物———竹子，便欣喜若狂地跑了过去，可等我走近时却让我大失所望。这里的竹子全都黄了萎了。我一遍一遍在竹丛寻找———寻找那一棵哪怕只有一丁点绿色的竹子。
“天啊！
我看到了。看到了一棵完全翠绿的竹子！
”真让我不敢相信自己的眼睛，要知道那些日子不是骄阳当头就是倾盆大雨。你看其它竹子都萎了，就它一棵翠绿依旧。
正在我入神时，打起了雷，倾盆大雨紧接着就来了，我只好慌忙跑回家，趴在窗子上向外望，看着雨中的翠竹，只见它右摇左摆仿佛和风雨做着搏斗。我生怕它会被风雨征服，会躺在地上起不来……
雨终于停了，我急忙跑到楼下只见它又挺起了腰杆，在微风中轻轻摇摆，好似在向我诉说着搏斗后胜利的喜悦。
这棵翠竹使我懂得了一个道理：困难就似暴风雨，我们就好像翠竹，只有从困难中走过来的人才有生存的可能，才是生活的强者。
