The world in the sand, stone hidden in heaven and earth.

沙中有世界，石里藏乾坤。
早在二千五百年以前，古印度的圣人释迦牟尼佛就讲过一粒沙里有三千大千世界的学说。那么，那个沙子里面的沙子是不是还有三千大千世界啊……如此推下去，推一万年都推不完。而我们的地球围绕太阳运转的机制，与电子围绕原子核运转的机制有什么不同呢？宇宙有多大啊，佛说“其大无外，其小无内”。现代物理学讲“粒子无限可分”，正好印证了佛陀所说的话的正确性。
我觉得世界就是一粒沙。我们就生活在这样的一粒沙子里面而不自知。我们走在马路上，随脚踢起的石子，以及我们鞋子里的尘沙，我们司空见惯，觉得平淡无奇，但说不定那就是一个比我们这个世界还要丰富多彩的世界！只是我们没有那样的手段去研究罢了。我们现在的科学对粒子的研究只能是研究其一个点，并不能把它放大到象地球一样来研究其一个面，因此对世界的认识就有了很大的局限性。
世界是一粒沙，我们每个人也都是一粒沙。我们的身体也是由粒子构成的，在显微镜下看人体都是由分子构成的一些松散的沙子。道家讲人体就是一个小宇宙，人体也是天体的一部份。
宇宙中有“道”，每个人也有其“性格”。圣人讲，“道”是宇宙的特性，做人要向“道”回归，要真诚、善良……这样，人才会有“徳”。
老子讲道徳，徳与道合则无所不为无所不施，这是天人合一的大自在境界。心中有道的人才有未来，君子谋道不谋食，君子忧道不忧贫。
我写的一些文字是在生活中的一些感悟和一些情趣，好与不好，只管一路写来。其实，我写的东西也不过是一粒沙。但我力求从不同的角度不同的层次写好每一篇文字。
世界不过是一粒沙，我们没有必要把自己看得如何如何。沙子之外的人看我们，只不过是一粒沙而已。
