Butterfly is the most beautiful insect kingdom, the most attractive animals, known as "flying flowers." 蝴蝶是昆虫界最美丽，最吸引人的动物，被人们称为“会飞的花朵”。在它的翅膀上具有世界上任何一种天然的色彩，要比人工制作出的颜色鲜艳，把它贴翅画会更加珍贵；更加美丽；更加栩栩如生，是赠送的佳品。蝴蝶把它的美贡献给我们，我们又怎能去伤害它们，去破坏它们的家园呢？
蝴蝶的美给森林增添了生气，但是，我们不得不面对一个事实。全世界每天都有蝴蝶在灭亡。大自然生态平衡被破坏，益虫被杀、害虫猖獗；森林被砍伐，灾害频繁，植物被破坏，土地沙化。我们的生存环境被破坏。这又能怪谁？难道动物和森林不是我们人类所破坏的吗？
同学们，朋友们，为保护生物的多样性，我向全市中小学生发出倡议：
伸出我们的双手，多种一棵树；
让我们站出来，保护动物，给它们一个家；
让我们行动起来，保护自己的家园；
让韶关处处都充满生命的绿色！
