我们宜春地处亚热带地区，这里气候温和雨量充足，土地肥沃，生长了许许多多的稀有动植物，其中我最喜欢的是华木莲。
华木莲是落叶乔木中的一种稀有植物，全国只有我们宜春才有。它生长在国家级森林公园——明月山上，是我们宜春的骄傲。
华木莲的样子非常好看。它的形状是和别的莲花不同的，碧绿的阔叶围绕着中间的一朵白里带黄的小花，像众星捧月一样。华木莲的花瓣又小又少，差不多在5—6瓣，在许多绿叶的衬托下，显得小巧玲珑，美丽极了。
华木莲得到宜春人民的喜爱，已经成了市花。在320国道进入宜春市区的路口，矗立着一个以华木莲为造型的雕塑，这个雕塑高耸入云，让人感觉它非常高，也雕得非常精致。
我爱家乡的华木莲，我更爱我的家乡——宜春。
